Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who we are
Northern Beaches Gutters ("we", "us") operates northernbeachesgutters.com, an independent quote-request website for gutter services on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
When you send a quote request or contact message, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you need, details about your home such as storeys and roof type, and anything you write in the message box. We also record which page the form was sent from and, if you arrived from an advertisement or campaign link, the campaign details in that link.
3. How we use it
We use your details to respond to your request, and we pass your quote request to an independent local gutter or roofing tradesperson so they can contact you, quote and arrange the work. We don't sell your personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.
4. Who we share it with
- The local tradesperson or tradespeople your request is passed to.
- Service providers that help run this website, such as our hosting provider and the form service that delivers requests to us by email. Some of these providers store data outside Australia.
- Anyone we are required to share it with by law.
Once a tradesperson has your details, their handling of them is governed by their own privacy practices.
5. Analytics and cookies
We may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited. These tools may set cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
6. Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and keep it only as long as we need it to deal with your request or meet legal obligations.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, through our contact page. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
